The confession

What was he about to say? Was it he didn't want to ever hang out with her? That he thought she was annoying? Her eyebrow knitted together in a look of concern, but she tried to cover it up. "You know you can tell me anything Lawliet." She said, accidentally switching to his real name in her nervousness.

''Anything?'' He suddenly hugged her. ''Alright then... This might sound extremly cheesy, but I want you to listen to me anyway... See...I've never actually met someone with whom I could be myself. Not somebody else. I don't have to pretend. I feel relaxed when I'm around you, happy...whatever good feeling crosses your mind. That's because I...'' He breathed in and out. ''...because I like you. A lot. Very much. Really a lot. If you could think about this and give me your answer...I'd be grateful.'' He then let go of her.

Eliah stood dazed for a moment, standing shook still. Her cheeks had turned red, almost matching her hair. Her mouth moved silently for a few moments. "Y-you like me? Me? " She asked incredulity. "I must be dreaming." She looked up at him, into his ice blue eyes. He was everything to her at this moment

.Eliah's face lit up in the biggest, brightest smile she had ever smiled. She ran toward Lawliet and threw her arms around him. She squeezed him tightly. "I love you Lawlie." She whispered in his ear. "I love you so much."Lawliet freezed.

''Huh?...W-What?'' He blinked. ''You...love me?'' Eliah looked up at him from where she was clinging to his chest. She felt his heart beat speed up. "Yes you Lawlie. What's not to love?" She stayed in that position, listening to his heart while she waited to see what he did next.

Lawliet's face lightened up. -She loves me...- ''You love me!!'' He lifted her in the air and hugged her while holding her. ''Please tell me this isn't a joke. Please...''Eliah squealed as she was lifted into the air. She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck, loving the feeling.She felt like she was flying. "I love you! I'm not joking" She grinned. Her heart felt like it was going to hop out of her with a burst of happiness.
